Wordpress As A Content Management System?
Jun 5th, 2009 | By David Ollenberger | Category: Website DevelopmentIf you’ve been around the Internet long enough you’ve probably seen or heard about Wordpress. It is an Open Source (free) blog software that runs in the background and controls all the content (this blog is based on Wordpress!). Website developers and bloggers love the system because it’s easy to use, flexible and let’s face it, the price is right! Traditionally Wordpress has been used for blogs. Over the last few years it has evolved into a system that can be used as a full Content Management System for your website. It still contains all the features that have made it popular but now you can manage page content as well. You can even upload images, create links and even manage media files.
